The Bazaar of Health is a free, community-centered health fair designed to connect immigrant families with essential healthcare services, mental wellness support, and trusted community resources across Colorado. This event brings together healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, and community partners to create a welcoming space where families can access care, receive screenings, and learn about available services—all in one place.
More than a health fair, the Bazaar of Health is a celebration of community, culture, and the right to accessible, culturally responsive care.
IHAC is a statewide initiative working to protect and expand healthcare access for Colorado’s immigrant communities — regardless of immigration status or type of health coverage. Founded in response to urgent community needs and shifting policy landscapes, IHAC brings together community-based organizations, public health leaders, legal advocates, and healthcare providers to build a coordinated, culturally responsive approach to immigrant health.
Families and community members can access a wide range of services and resources, including:
• Health Screenings & Medical Services
• Mental Health & Family Support
• Healthcare Access & Insurance Support
• Legal & Immigration Support
The Bazaar of Health was created to address the barriers many immigrant families face when trying to access healthcare and support services. Language, cost, and fear can often prevent families from seeking care. By bringing services directly into the community, this event creates a safe, welcoming space where individuals can receive care with dignity and trust. Events like this have already served hundreds of families across Colorado, demonstrating the urgent need for accessible, no-cost healthcare services.
Why It Matters
The Bazaar of Health reflects a larger mission: ensuring that all families—regardless of immigration status—have access to healthcare, information, and support.
By combining healthcare services, mental wellness, legal support, and community resources in one place, this event helps:
• Reduce barriers to care
• Build trust within immigrant communities
• Strengthen connections between families and providers
• Promote long-term health and well-being
